The third edition of the International Ship Building, Port and Marine Technology Exhibition to be held in Doha, Qatar, will mark the beginning of a new revolution in the region
ROTTERDAM, November 2007 Press Release: Ahoy Rotterdam, organiser of the international exhibition Europort Maritime, has entered into a partnership with Dubai, UAE-based industry expo major Al Fajer Information & Services to host Ship & Port + Europort Maritime, the premium international ship building, port and marine technology exhibition for the Middle East and Asia, in Doha in 2008.
The third edition of the three-day maritime industry event is scheduled
to be held at the brand new Qatar International Exhibition Centre in
Doha from May 5-7, 2008. The expo is organised under the patronage of
His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani, Minister of State,
Government of Qatar.
The Dubai-based Al Fajer Information & Services is a leading
industry exhibition organiser in the Middle East, since 1972 and it's a
part of Al Fajer Enterprises, owned by Sheikh Hasher Al Maktoum, a
scion of the Dubai's Ruling Family.
Over the years, Europort Maritime, a property of Ahoy Rotterdam, has
become a bench-mark of specialised knowledge and technology in the
field of maritime design and preven-tive maintenance. This is a
distinctive position which, particularly for Western Europe, is unique
